Meet the Teachers!

Meet Stephanie!
Stephanie is from Pittsburgh, PA. She is a senior in Art Education with a minor in Psychology. She loves working with children and was an intern at the Day Care Centre at Hort Woods. She supports interdisciplinary and therapeutic art practices and sees her own art making as a fun way to experiment with materials, movement, and emotions. Recently, she studied at the Studio Arts Center International in Florence, Italy. Outside of art, she enjoys dancing and is involved in a campus dance organization that promotes various cultural styles. Stephanie is excited to begin teaching Saturday School and looks forward to meeting and learning from her new students!

Meet Annie!

Annie is from West Chester, PA. She is a senior studying Art Education with a minor in Special Education. She loves teaching kids about art making, but learning from them as well. Last summer she was an intern at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. Her teaching philosophy revolves around the idea of exploration through the arts and the incorporation of the world around us into her students’ artwork. She tries to embody these ideas in her artwork and is always willing to try something new! Recently, she studied at the Studio Arts Center International in Florence, Italy. When she is not teaching she likes to be outside, snowboard, or play with her St. Bernard! Annie can’t wait to meet all the Saturday School students and begin an artistic journey with them!
